A Carnival of Color

We all love a pop of color, right? I especially love using a LOT of bright colors together, because it will look great with anything you wear it with! For these pieces, I used a reversible Vera Bradley belt to make the yoyos and threw it together with bright Polk-a-dot ribbon, some vintage buttons and other recycled/upcycled buttons and fabrics. These pieces are great for ladies of all ages... From babies to grownies (as my kids say!)

These items will be coming soon to etsy!

A Perfect Wedding : Barns & Blush

I recently had the immense pleasure of doing all of the bridal pieces for a large, outdoor, barn wedding.  The style was eclectic, but with a lot of vintage touches.  My favorite piece was, of course, the bridal veil.  Miss Brandi, the bride and also a great friend, wanted something spectacular.  I used a sweet, polk-a-dot lace for a blusher veil and the hairpiece was accented with a large, gold button with antique-style detailing.

I mean... it was pretty perfect.

Brandi had 8 bridesmaids and four flower girls.  All of their hairpieces were various shades of nude and blush.  The pieces were all different styles and sizes.

For all the details of this wedding, check out this feature on Ruffled.
Full Photo Cred goes to Clayton Austin Love Stories.

A special thanks to Brandi-Lin and Danny Ebersole for letting me be a part of their special day.  And for tolerating this madness at the reception!  I love you guys!!  But, let's be honest... you guys love me too.

What To Wear in Family Photographs

I designed some pieces for my friend Amanda and her daughter, Eliza, for their family photo shoot.  She wanted the pieces to coordinate without being too matchy, and she wanted them both on stretchy headbands.  The challenge was custom fitting the piece so that Eliza did not look like she was auditioning for Sweatin' to the Oldies.  The photographs looked beautiful and, I dare say, that the headbands did as well!  Here is a good look at how it all turned out.

I love making coordinating sets for Mamas and their babies.
