Fall Fashion 2012

I had the privilege of joining Artist Row this weekend at the Rochester Public Market. The event was a huge success and it gave me a good taste for what the ladies are loving this fall! Apart from the usual fall tones (rusty oranges, mustards, earthy browns) I noticed that jewel tones went fast, and I sold out of all my pieces made with faux fur.

I was excited to try fur, and had been subliminally telling all my friends that fur was the new neutral... But I wasn't sure if it was going to catch on. Well it did, so expect more where that came from. Below are some pictures of my fall display and of some fall pieces that went quickly!

*The gorgeous wooden flower vase featured at my table is courtesy of the brilliant Shane and Jenny Wren of Wren Woods. Many thanks for this piece and for their talent!

A Perfect Wedding : Barns & Blush

I recently had the immense pleasure of doing all of the bridal pieces for a large, outdoor, barn wedding.  The style was eclectic, but with a lot of vintage touches.  My favorite piece was, of course, the bridal veil.  Miss Brandi, the bride and also a great friend, wanted something spectacular.  I used a sweet, polk-a-dot lace for a blusher veil and the hairpiece was accented with a large, gold button with antique-style detailing.

I mean... it was pretty perfect.

Brandi had 8 bridesmaids and four flower girls.  All of their hairpieces were various shades of nude and blush.  The pieces were all different styles and sizes.

For all the details of this wedding, check out this feature on Ruffled.
Full Photo Cred goes to Clayton Austin Love Stories.

A special thanks to Brandi-Lin and Danny Ebersole for letting me be a part of their special day.  And for tolerating this madness at the reception!  I love you guys!!  But, let's be honest... you guys love me too.

You're crazy not to customize...

One of my favorite things I do is custom orders. Call me a people pleaser, but I love to figure out exactly what it is that you want, and make it happen. I especially enjoy doing this for special occasions!

Below are a few examples of how I can take a few preferences and turn it into a piece to perfectly match a dress or outfit. The blue and coral clip was a custom order for a bright, summery piece to coordinate with a coral dress.

The others pictures show how I can use a single picture or gift item to make a coordinating piece to complete the whole look. It is a great way to beef up a gift you give. Why give someone just a shirt, when you can customize a perfectly matching piece?? I'll tell you why, because you're probably crazy.
